Nature’s Best has been in the fruit import and trading business in Malaysia for more than 30 years. It is in the fruit and vegetable wholesale center town of Selayang in Selangor state. The founder and chairman of the company is Kelvin Leong, who started the business after completing his studies in Australia in 1985. He is ably supported by his management team comprising Linus Ng (CEO), CE Oh (CMO) and Pearl Kheng (CFO). Together with 150 staff and still growing, Nature’s Best is today a leading fruit importer and marketing company with an annual turnover of RM 150 million.
Nature’s Best started off as an importer of fresh fruits some 30 years ago. Initially, we supplied the fruits to wholesalers. Today, we supply and operate six of our own wholesale outlets scattered over three states in Peninsular Malaysia.
Twenty years ago, besides supplying the wholesalers, we expanded our distribution business to include supermarkets. Today, we supply to AEON Malaysia under Nature’s Best Sdn Bhd. Together with its subsidiary company Transfresh (M) Sdn Bhd, we also supply to 5 other major supermarkets in Malaysia such as AEON BiG, Giant, Mydin, Village Grocer and Ben’s Independent Grocer (B.I.G.)
In 2019 we went into the online business to supply choice and exotic fruits directly to consumers under Jezripe Sdn Bhd.
To ensure that high quality and reasonably-priced fresh fruits are available to consumers in Malaysia throughout the year. In this, we achieve by sourcing fruits from around the world and then continue to maintain the quality and freshness with our own storage and distribution facilities.
